Aeolus conceives, designs, manufactures and sells tyres made with extreme care and dedication, throughout our production lines where the best-of-breed technologies have been adopted and the finest and sustainable raw material are used.

Our products largely meet the strict requirements of EU REACH regulation, which is the strictest law regulating chemical substances throughout the world. We strive to deliver products with better rolling resistance to limit CO2 emission and fuel consumption; to enhance the strength of our carcasses to allow more retreading cycles and have a lower environmental impact.

In recent years, Aeolus has adopted the concept of "green development", which means adopting material, processes, and technologies that do not harm the environment, ensuring that natural assets continue to provide the resources and environmental services on which our well-being relies.

We continuously invest in solid and specific initiatives to promote social and environmental progress, by adopting sustainable production processes with state-of-the-art technologies. Our ultimate objective is to have zero-emissions factories, where community health comes first.

Flue Gas Treatment

The advanced single tower integrated desulfurization and dedusting deep purification technology (SPC-3D), with the Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction method (SNCR), and the Selective Catalytic Reduction method (SCR) is used to transform the flue gas desulfurization and denitrification system. After the transformation, the ultra-low emission standard requirements for the emission concentration of soot (10 mg/Nm3), sulfuric dioxide (<35 mg/Nm3), and nitrogen oxides (<50mg/Nm3) are achieved, for the wellness of everyone in the factories and in the local communities.

Volatile Organic Compounds Emissions Treatment (VOC)

Adhere to the concept of process reduction at source, process management, and end management, with technological progress as the mainline, promotes the replacement of raw and auxiliary materials at the source and clean production technology transformation to carry out the management of volatile organic compounds (VOC) jobs. The system adopts advanced compound purification technology, transforming the exhaust gas collection device inside the workshop to improve the efficiency of unorganized flue gas collection and send the exhaust gas to the roof deodorization purifier through the fan for treatment and purification. The emission value is then far below the emission standard limit. The purpose is not only to improve the working environment of the employees of the workshop but also to reduce more effectively the emission intensity and amount of gas odor.

Aeolus has achieved comprehensive management of volatile organic compounds (VOC) in its factories, reaching an extremely advanced level for the tyre industry.

Zero Discharge of Water

Aeolus implemented the comprehensive utilization of water resources and treated the production wastewater, domestic sewage, and urban domestic sewage generated by the Company. The treated reclaimed water is used as circulating cooling supplementary water and production assistance.

This system improves the utilization efficiency and helps to limit the impact on the water resources, reducing the need for extracting the groundwater.

Utilization of Waste Resources

Aeolus has adopted an end-to-end management process for the solid waste generated during the production and processing of tyres. Indeed, solid waste is produced in large quantity and it potentially threatens the environment and the public health.

The waste is securely recovered, stored, and delivered to qualified operators, which reuse it in a circular economy.

Energy Saving

Aeolus promotes total energy-saving and consumption reduction initiatives, across every function, both in the factories and in the offices. Manic attention is dedicated to these aspects. New energy-saving technologies are applied to reduce the energy consumption of the whole Company and at the same time, it is demanded to the management the adoption of strict efficiency measures to limit the energy needs.

Through the application of advanced management methods such as informatization, standardization, and system optimization, the scientific team can effectively control the energy consumption of all links and reduce any possible waste. At the same time, other technical means are used to reduce the energy consumption, such as the use of waste heat recycling technology, energy system optimization, motor system energy saving, green lighting, water treatment, and recycling, just to cite some of them.
