For the tyre to perform properly, it must be fitted correctly on the correct size of the rim or wheel. The tyre mounting and demounting process should be performed by a trained technician using proper tools and lubricants.

The tyre damaged during fitment can result in unexpected rapid loss of pressure due to air or moisture migration through the casing. This damage can take weeks to manifest depending on the severity and location of the damage (normally on the bead).

Any damage to the bead or inner liner of the tyre regardless of the size can result in air or moisture migration!

Twinnined Tyres

To avoid excessive and irregular wear and unequal weight distribution across the tyres, it is essential that the twinned tyres are as similar as possible. More precisely:

  • Are exactly the same (size, manufacturer, tread pattern)
  • Operate within 10 psi/0,69 bar of each other
  • Are within 4 mm of tread depth with each other.

Failure to comply with the conditions mentioned above will cause one of the tyres in dual-position to rotate faster or slower than the other, causing irregular wear, damages, and putting at risk the safety of everyone.
